Members and roles

Add existing users and give them the access their work requires.

Open Settings → Organization settings → Members to inspect the people who can access your organization. A person's role applies to every current and future factory in that organization. Organization Owners and Admins manage membership.

Add a teammate

  1. Ask the teammate to create a Uno account.
  2. Obtain their Uno user ID.
  3. Open the add-member dialog and enter that ID.
  4. Select the appropriate role and save.
  5. Ask them to select a factory in the organization and confirm the expected access.

Adding an existing organization member updates their role across all factories.

The current form adds an existing account by user ID. It does not send an email invitation. Confirm the ID rather than assuming a matching display name identifies the intended person.

Choose a role

RoleIntended responsibility
OwnerOrganization ownership and administrative control
AdminManaging organization membership, billing, and factory configuration
MemberRunning and contributing work within factory policy
ViewerReading permitted factory information without mutation access

The add-member form offers the roles that can be granted through that action. Ownership is not an ordinary invitation option. Individual settings can have narrower permissions, so use the actual controls and error rather than assuming every action is available to every administrative role.

Remove access

Use the member removal control when someone no longer needs access. Confirming removal revokes access to every factory in the organization, unassigns their tasks, and pauses their routines. Their work and history remain. Owners cannot be removed or demoted through ordinary membership controls. Review connected provider accounts and integrations they established as a separate configuration concern. Membership changes do not undo previous code changes or external actions.

Model restrictions are configured separately under Model access. Funding is shared through the organization wallet, as described in plans and credits.

If a teammate cannot see the project, confirm their signed-in account, user ID, workspace, and role before creating another account.
